My Wild Greens Lemon Balm Knock-Your-Socks-off Smoothie!
I was ravenous when I headed to the kitchen today, and I had a ton of work to do. I wanted something that would give me loads of energy and also be yummy.
As I looked around what we had in the kitchen, I was disappointed we did not have any berries! Very ripe bananas, a bruised apple, and some yogurt.. hmm..!!! What was really fresh and lively that could give some zing?
Off to the back yard.. where I found a TON of Wild Greens growing.. here’s what it looks like without the flowers..

and here is what it looks like WITH flowers.

I also found a patch of lemon balm growing.. and picked some leaves.
Here’s the lemon balm.

I headed back to the house to put it all into the blender.. ( I have a high speed blender.. a Vita Mix.. so it really does justice on anything going into it!)
Here’s the end result! YUM!!!!
